Not every student can succeed in the
public school environment. Some students require emotional and academic
support in order to participate successfully in a classroom setting.
Beacon School is designed to serve and nurture these students through a
series of specialized programs created to promote self-esteem and a
sense of accomplishment. We believe that students flourish when given
the tools for success within a caring environment. Founded in 1970 to expand educational opportunities for special education students, Beacon School specializes in preparing our students to transition to public school and/or vocational opportunities. Our goal is to help students become independent and contributing members of today's society. At Beacon School, we measure our success through our students' success. |
